I think this Manchester United team is ridiculous. How can a team that includes Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Wayne Rooney, David De Gea, and Anthony Martial among others, how can they be sixth. Everyone is saying they are on a great run scoring goal after goal after goal, and that they are on a great unbeaten run in the league. Well when you look better at it, then you notice that they have drawn way too many times drawing with Hull, Stoke, etc. While losing to Chelsea by a 4 goal margin, losing to Hull in the cup's second leg, so looking at the actual results, they have been really bad. Jose Mourinho has not discovered his magical touch from his Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, and back again at Chelsea. This Manchester United team seems far away from winning a league title. How far are they from the Sir Alex Ferguson glory days, some people may ask. Well from the time where they would be disgraced to not finish in the top two, United are now a team fighting to finish in the top four, if they don't beat Leicester in their next game, they are going to be out of the title race and the top 4 race for this season. Mourinho has been giving excuses while someone like Antonio Conte, who came into this season without any prior experience in the Barclays Premier League, has added just two new player into the starting eleven in Marcos Alonso and David Luiz and recalled Victor Moses from loan. He turned Chelsea around from a miserable tenth position finish last season into what is now probably a wrapped up league title with them being 9 points clear of Tottenham Hotspurs with their only big games to come being Manchester United and Manchester City. Chelsea have been offensively amazing, but their best ability is defending. This has been a problem at the Theatre of Dreams, they have been conceding too many goals. They have been the worst team at home from the top six, mainly because of their inability to score. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is way too inconsistent and so is Paul Pogba. Mkhi hasn't hit the lights he has at Dortmund and Martial is being frozen out of the team. Mourinho should improve the squad by people that fit the squad not just players that cost a lot of money, he should focus on improving his link up play, not holding onto possession, and lastly he should focus on teaching his players to close out a game like professionals.
